Fold is the first pull-out sofabed designed by Huppé. Closed, this contemporary piece boasts a Mid-Century Modern touch. Its solid birch legs feature rounded tips and can be customized with any Huppé birch finish. Available in double and queen sizes, the Fold sleeper-sofa upholstery is offered in a select variety of fabrics and full-grain leathers featuring serged and topstitched edges as well as a button-free tufted back.
Quality, solidity and durability are assured by its metal pull-out mechanism imported from Italy, installed in a frame constructed from Select kiln-dried hardwood and Douglas fir plywood wrapped in polyurethane foam and polyester fiber. All cushions are made with high-density polyurethane foam covered in polyester fiberfill.
For maximum comfort and to ensure a restful sleep, the Fold sofabed includes an orthopedic foam mattress. The bed can be easily pulled out and closed singlehandedly without moving the cushions as they are designed to stay attached to the underside of the open hideaway bed. Upon awakening, the pillows can simply be tucked away in the built-in storage compartment located underneath the back cushions, for a clean and tidy look.
